Online! We want to make your online experience as
problem-free as possible. Below is information
that you will need to help you get started.
Logging in to Blackboard
Blackboard is the platform that
Lawson State uses to deliver online and web-supported courses.
Online courses are available a week before the class begins (all
tuition and fees must be paid). You should log in to Blackboard on
the first day of class to receive the instructions.
A video has been prepared
for all ONLINE courses
to give you an overview of the course.
Web supported (lecture) courses are
available the last day of "Drop and Add". View your
semester schedule booklet for the dates.
Steps To log in to Blackboard:
Your username is printed on your
schedule as you register for your classes. It is the first initial
of your first name, your last name and the last four digits of your
social security number or the last two digits of your student
number.
Example:
John Smith 784-56-9878 - User Name is
jsmith9878 (All New Students)
Example:
John Smith 7057821 - User Name is
jsmith21 (Old Students-Some)
The password is: Your six (6)
digits of your birthday MM/DD/YY.
Your Birthday Is: October 4,
1986 - Example: 100486
Once you enter your account, please
change your password.
